Professional Services & Refund Policy
1. ALL SALES ARE FINAL Souza's Tax & Accounting Professionals Inc. provides professional services, including but not limited to tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, and business advisory. Because our services involve the immediate expenditure of our time, expertise, and intellectual property, all payments are strictly non-refundable once work has commenced.
2. TAX PREPARATION & FILING Fees for tax preparation are based on the complexity of the return and the time required to prepare it, not on the financial outcome of the return.

No refunds will be issued based on the outcome of a tax return (e.g., if you owe taxes or receive a smaller refund than expected).

Once a draft return has been provided for your review, or the return has been e-filed/mailed, the service is considered 100% rendered and no refunds will be granted.
3. RETAINERS & DEPOSITS Any deposits or retainers collected prior to the commencement of work are non-refundable. They secure your position in our queue and cover the initial administrative setup and strategy review.
4. SUBSCRIPTIONS & ONGOING SERVICES (BOOKKEEPING/PAYROLL) Monthly bookkeeping and payroll services are billed flat-rate. Cancellations must be submitted in writing prior to the next billing cycle. We do not prorate or refund partial months of service.
5. CHARGEBACKS & DISPUTES By paying an invoice from Souza's Tax & Accounting Professionals Inc., you explicitly agree to this policy. In the event of a credit card chargeback or PayPal dispute, this policy, along with your signed engagement letter and/or payment timestamp, will be submitted to the financial institution as proof of validly rendered services. Clients initiating fraudulent chargebacks will be immediately discharged and held liable for all dispute fees incurred by our firm.
